FastAbstracts (a two page published technical paper, lightly reviewed, with a short talk) is a concept introduced a few years ago. It impact has grown and now several conferences offer them as a standard track. The Call for FastAbstracts gives more details on the track.

Here are the ISSRE 2000 FastAbstracts. Printed copies of this are distributed at the conference, and this site archives FastAbstracts from 1999 and1998 as well.
