Having left IISc, tried my hand as an electrical contractor, taking up wiring jobs, panel making etc. Not having understood, concepts of cash flow, very promptly folded up though I had built up significant clientele including Indian Telephone Industries. Joined Datacons, a Bangalore based software firm and was body shopped to Mumbai to Patni Computer Systems. There, I met the gang that was later to become Infosys and subsequently joint them in their enterprise. I worked hard and diligently at Infosys. It was very rewarding in all ways. Having seen errors and wastage of skills in Software Engineering, Surya the company that I have founded is trying to establish itself as a leader in component bases software engineering. All my earlier experience has gone into doing this. Currently, I run Surya software systems as the CEO.

Personal

Married to Kalpana, my wife of 17 years. I have two kids. Gopalkrishna (Krishna) - he is joining 11th standard in Bishop Cotton Boy's School. He has done well in his tenth. Krishna is 15 years old. My second son Arjun is 11 years old, studying in 6th standard in Bishop Cotton Boys' School. Besides everything, Arjun is a tremendous cook. We live in Flat B3. Sobha Turquoise, Haudin Road, Bangalore - 560 042.
