Douglas McKibben, Gartner
Douglas McKibben is a research director in GartnerG2 Financial Services,
focusing on strategic business drivers for wholesale banking and corporate
treasury with a particular emphasis on risk management, sourcing and the
real-time enterprise.
Mr. McKibben is experienced with financial aspects of e-commerce, financial
process re-engineering, and the use of technology to create and deliver
transaction and information products. Prior to joining Gartner, he served
as senior manager/principal consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers Treasury
Consulting Practice specializing in ERP solutions and FAS 133. Mr. McKibben's
experience includes more than 11 years at Citibank/Citicorp where he served
as a managing consultant in Global Cash Management, a corporate relationship
manager in the World Corporate Group, and a director of several information
product initiatives. Before that, Mr. McKibben spent five years at Credit
Lyonnais directing the integration of bank technology with business unit
initiatives, and creating information management solutions. He also has
four years of "hands-on" corporate experience as a senior analyst
on General Motors' New York Treasury staff.
Mr. McKibben earned a master of business administration degree in finance
from Georgia College and holds a bachelor of science degree in business
administration from the University of Kansas.
