After coming out of IISc (MS Metallurgy, 1980), went to Banaras
Hindu University for Ph.D. Stayed till 1982; left for Polytechnic
University, New York, for PhD. Completed late 1987. Worked
for a physical vapor deposition company: 3 yrs. Worked for
vacuum surface modification group for another company: 4 yrs.
Currently, at Applied Materials as senior engineer in new product
development group for Etch division. Applied Materials is the
largest manufacturer of semiconductor wafer processing equipments.
Married with two children: Nivedan 4yrs 8mths Pavan 3yrs
9mths
Thanks again, Ramu. You're bringing back memories of some
of the best times. The udupi recipes are a nice touch. Good
show (as Suds says)! Revathi and the kids are doing fine. Hope
